You may wonder about the meaning or the origin of, "PitRaf", the name of this website ...... it is easy to explain. It is nothing more than the coupling of two words, "Pittore" (Painter) and "Raffaello", Pittore pays homage to the art of a very famous artist and my given name, Raffaello. I do not wish to compare myself with the great Maestro; however I do consider myself to be a modest artist similar to so many others in the world and believe that my hobby is an effective way to communicate to the beholder the emotions of the person behind the camera.
